Entrepreneurs for future generations
Assist NEET youths
At Groupe SOS, we offer support to NEET (No Employment, Education or Training) youths through our support platforms and qualifying training courses.
Our schemes provide individualised support, taking into account the background, difficulties and, above all, the human and professional qualities of each person.
PREPAPP
PREPAPP aims to help NEET youths aged 16 to 29 who live in priority urban districts to train as nursing assistants or educational and social support assistants on an apprenticeship basis.
The purpose of this project is:
- Promoting short-staffed, socially useful occupations
- Working closely with local communities to motivate young people and better prepare them for block release apprenticeship.
- Removing the peripheral barriers to integration and offering everyone a positive way out
- Involving employers in the integration of new profiles.
Teame
The Teame scheme, run by our organisation Plateforme I, aims to motivate the most vulnerable youths by involving them in the creation of a collective project. This programme enables them to develop their ability to take action and gain real management and work experience.
All inclusive
Since 2021, Groupe SOS has been offering All Inclusive, a nursing assistant training programme adapted to people with disabilities. It includes group learning of basic skills (French, mathematics, digital skills, etc.), vocational skills (knowledge of the sector, hygiene, safety, etc.) and interpersonal skills in the workplace. This includes a 2-week work placement in our facilities, which may lead to a block release apprenticeship contract.
Employability at Groupe SOS
More broadly, Groupe SOS is committed to allowing everyone to have a job, whatever their age, administrative status or nationality… We are convinced that employment is a formidable vehicle for integration into society, as it widens the circles of one’s acquaintance, breaks social isolation, and is also a means of fulfilment for many. However, there are many barriers to employment: transport, family circumstances, health, access to decent housing, etc. At Groupe SOS, we offer a sustainable return to employment through several schemes that allow us to take action within the labour market, but also to assist in overcoming peripheral barriers. Our schemes provide individualised support, taking into account the background, difficulties and, above all, the human and professional qualities of each person.
